World HOBO, also known as WHOBO, was a Super Smash Bros. Brawl national tournament held in Houston, Texas, from April 10th-12th, 2009, hosted by Xyro. The tournament was the first tournament of the WHOBO series. The results of this tournament sparked debates over whether Meta Knight should be banned in tournaments, as 7 of the top 8 players used Meta Knight, and CO18 was the only player in the top 8 who did not used Meta Knight at all.
