On December 12th, 2016, Twitch spun-off Evil Geniuses and Alliance into player-owned organizations. Top professional Dota 2 player Peter "ppd" Dager was named CEO of Evil Geniuses. [1]
On March 24th, 2017, Evil Geniuses would venture into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U with the signing of Midwest Diddy Kong player Zinoto.[2]
