Crates return in [[SSBB]], and now look different depending on the stage they're on. A crate on the [[Yoshi's Island (SSBB)|Yoshi's Island]] stage will look like a present box, and so forth. Also introduced are crates with wheels on them, called "sliding boxes", which will slide down slanted platforms and probably move when hit instead of remaining stationary.
