:I think in general only the subcategory should be used; it's what we currently do for smasher articles (always using "[state/provice] smashers" instead of just "Smashers"). But it might depend on what exactly the subcategory relation is. Let's say we have the categories A and B, where B is a subcategory of A. If both A and B are relevant to an article, should it have both, or just B? – Smiddle 10:37, 6 August 2014 (EDT)

I think in general only the subcategory should be used; it's what we currently do for smasher articles (always using "[state/provice] smashers" instead of just "Smashers"). But it might depend on what exactly the subcategory relation is. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Incomperable 11:01, 6 August 2014 (EDT)
Most of the articles I've added into Technology already had some of its subcategories, so maybe it's not necessary. – Smiddle 14:09, 6 August 2014 (EDT)
