I had deleted this a while ago, but put it back because I was told we already had several Japanese-name Pokémon redirects. Since then people have added more, and no one's complained. I think we have a few non-Pokémon Japanese name redirects too but I can't think of any right now. If you want to challenge this status quo, then go ahead, but it's the current standard.
