Doctor Mario is a character in SSBM, unlocked by either clearing Classic mode on any difficulty/stock with Mario without using any continues or by playing 100 vs. matches.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Has good KO moves that often don't require a setup
- Good edge-guarder
- Pills, due to their high bouncem, are excellent at disturbing enemy approach
- Two chain throws
- A very versatile and combo-friendly back aerial
- Long wavedash
- His cape is useful for diverting enemy attacks and recoveries
Cons
- Severely lacks range on his moves
- Has a bad recovery distance, especially horizontal
