You are Welcome to my talk page, here you can ask me anything

Issues regarding your edits so far[edit]

Hey, I just had to go through all the recent edits you've made to see, because there were a lot of things that stood out to me. I'll be blunt and I hope you understand. For context, I first noticed these problems when you added the summary for Mii Swordfighter, and was the one who edited all of it to read better.

Please check your grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation for anything you edit, as they have been very sloppy. I know your additions are all in good faith, but there have been so many formatting errors that someone always needs to step in and fix minor mistakes. It really inconveniences others, to the point that your additions aren't beneficial.

Some problems I've seen have been:

  • Starting a sentence with lower case (eg. "the multi-hits have less base knockback...")
  • Ending a sentence without a full stop (eg. "and less knockback scaling (100 to 80)")
  • Incorrect spelling (you have spelled "with" as "whit" many, many times. Please, a typical browser highlights incorrect spelling with a red line. Right click and check if your spelling is correct!)
  • Not capitalizing names properly or inconsistently (eg. "Ness and Fox are the...... as ness has a worse matchup spread than yoshi", "If Kirby uses the final smash). Names should always be capitalized, and Final Smash is always capitalized, although moves like forward tilt and down throw don't require them.
  • Trivia that is considered suspect or irrelevant (eg. "Ness and Fox are the only characters whit a worse average matchup spread than a character ranked below them on the tier list, as ness has a worse matchup spread than yoshi". This is extremely niche and irrelevant in the long run).

Most of your edits are on older pages, which means less people are likely to check your errors and revert them. From just skimming through your edits through January, there's so many errors that I'm considering reverting a lot of them because of the grammatical errors. It should be quite telling that you yourself seem to know this is the case (even listing it on your user page), so please do something about it if you really do want to improve. I'm sorry for sounding quite annoyed, but the amount of mistakes I've seen has been quite staggering. Mexi (talk) 14:52, January 27, 2025 (EST)

Thanks man, i will make sure to not do any of those mistakes, and i will also fix those mistakes. But the reason why some of the grammar can be bad is because im italian and i don't know english 100% Tommaso Gabisi (talk) 04:47, February 8, 2025 (EST)

Ah, I see. I assumed so because of all the errors. I recommend using spell checkers frequently if that's the case, and you might also want to try using online grammar checkers (although I am not sure how accurate they are). If any future reversions are made on your edits, understand it's because they might not be formatted well enough to be kept on the page. Also, please sign any talk page posts with four tildes (four "~"s). Mexi (talk) 03:56, January 28, 2025 (EST)

So, i solved the issues i did, it took a way shorter amount of time because of most of my issues already being solved, so thanks for letting me know. Tommaso Gabisi (talk) 04:47, February 8, 2025 (EST)

Bumping this. I'm not the one who reverted this, but your edit here has many issues with it that makes it unreadable.

  • First, you often use commas in place of periods, which leads to long, nonsensical run-on sentences. Not everything has to be in the same sentence, and it's often better to just write multiple sentences per paragraph to improve readability.
  • Phrases like "something funny", "because as i said", and "and of course" (this was in your Ultimate G&W edit) are editorial in nature and certainly not encyclopedic language. Avoid it at all cost.
  • The last paragraph you added basically adds nothing to the page. This sentence especially, "you do see top level Mario players using it sometimes to atempt to get an early stock, it's just not gonna be as early as most other meteor smashes", is meaningless because this is literally one of the reasons people go for gimps and spikes; it's not unique to Mario.

You have been warned about your edits before. Please keep these, and all other previous warnings, in mind before you edit again. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 11:26, June 13, 2025 (EDT)

"guide on SSBU Jigglypuff"[edit]

The article you made ("Tommaso gabisi's guide on SSBU Jigglypuff") is not something suited for mainspace. I recommend moving it to your user space if you want to keep it. To do so, you should be able to open the article, click the "move" tab (desktop) or "Move" link under the gear dropdown (mobile), and where it says "Tommaso gabisi's guide on SSBU Jigglypuff" you should change it to "User:Tommaso Gabisi/Tommaso gabisi's guide on SSBU Jigglypuff", then click the "move page" button. --CanvasK (talk) 14:40, February 17, 2025 (EST)

Uuuum, it's not letting me do that... Tommaso Gabisi (talk) 16:25, February 17, 2025 (EST)
