Links[edit]

Hi, when adding links to articles, I noticed you have been piping links when it was blatantly unnecessary. Per our Manual of Style, internal links should be as efficient as they can be while keeping text on the page untouched. For some specific examples from your edits:

 • You wrote priority, when priority links to the same exact thing. The first letter in a wiki link is not cap-sensitive.
 • You wrote out of shield punish, when out of shield was proper here. "Punish" should not be included in the link text, and should link to its own page instead if it's the first instance of it being used in the article or section.
 • You wrote Hero's Spin,, when Hero's Spin, was proper. There is no reason to include punctuation marks in the linked text.
 • You keep writing links to other character articles as Character, when we have the SSBU template and similar shortcut templates for other Smash games to link to character articles without having to pipe the link like that. So the proper way to link to character articles would be Character.

We want efficient links, as inefficient links unnecessarily bloat the byte size of the page and makes the wiki coding more cumbersome to parse through. I've also noticed in some other edits of yours like this, you didn't add any links at all; articles should have appropriate links throughout, with generally every first instance of a linkable term being used in an article or in a section being linked. Keep this all in mind when editing in the future. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 22:15, August 12, 2023 (EDT)
