Smash Remix renders[edit]
It was brought up on discord how some of the Smash Remix renders were not made by the Smash Remix team. After some discussion it was agreed that if it isn't made by the SR devs it isn't "official" and thus goes against a policy, specifically "Do not use fanart in the mainspace. There are limited situations where it may be used to demonstrate a point, but in general, articles should stick to screenshots and official images only." All of the other "unofficial" renders went under the radar because most editors don't pay attention to mods. It would be best to replace them with official versions (which I was told on my talk page probably won't happen) or screenshots of them in game -- both to make it policy compliant and to not pass them off as official. --CanvasK (talk) 01:45, July 3, 2025 (EDT)
