Meh.

Creating an account.[edit]

You seem to be working way too hard to create an account. Click the link above to find out some other reasons why! Penro, the PenroDarkPitHead.pngand PenroZSSHead.png main. 21:52, 25 January 2016 (EST)

Bump; you've been here for a while, made quite a few edits, and stayed active on the site. Seriously, consider this. BaconMasterFor my sig, of course. 19:45, 6 February 2016 (EST)

Grammar tweaks?[edit]

Maybe they'd like you to create an account, but I completely disagree on you making an account on this site. Your only edits are "grammar tweaks" thay make little sense to put them! For example, when I rewrote Falco's page, I undid several of your tweaks because: 1.- We know who is performing the attack. The subject (in this case, Falco) is not always needed since we know who is doing the attack. 2.- You put synonyms to the word you are replacing when they are not needed. 3.- Simply put, you make pages heavier. You add unnecesary bits to the site.

Please understand. I will revert most of the changes you made since they're unnecesary. --My signature's image :v BeepYou, a user with no grammar at all :v (talk) 03:20, 12 March 2016 (EST) , Just so you know, I will revert anything that you separate the bullet points on Changes from Brawl and version changes (I will get to that later). It makes a unnecessary clutter. Integrated and condensed bullet point is better than separated. Luigi540 (talk) 10:37, 12 March 2016 (EST)

Guys, if someone is good-faith, they deserve to create an account. Back in the day when I was an IP, Jamal reverted a lot of my edits, but people still wanted me to create an account. What's different here? PenroPenroDarkPitHead.png PenroZSSHead.png 10:53, 12 March 2016 (EST)
The difference here is that this user has literally zero helpful edits. Additionally, the same user is under the illusion he/she is helping. Drill Blaster Mark 2 (talk) 13:47, 12 March 2016 (EST)
Don't be stupid, guys. I understand the concerns raised by his contributions, but saying he shouldn't make an account because they suck (and actually some of them are good) isn't fair reasoning. He can make or not make an account if he wants. If you disagree with him making an account, then good for you. MuteSpittah (talk) 13:52, 12 March 2016 (EST)
I will give you the benefit of doubt and ignore the first sentence. Now, what I wanted to say wasn't "don't make an account, you're not helping" but rather "creating an account will be meaningless". While this user is indeed trying to help and has actually agreed to be careful when it comes to point #1, it is simply not enough. Edited articles are not any more encyclopedic than their originals. Drill Blaster Mark 2 (talk) 14:14, 12 March 2016 (EST)
If you think that's a personal attack, develop thicker skin. I'm saying that he can make an account if he wants to regardless of his previous contributions, good or bad, and it does have benefits for him and the community. Telling him that he's helping or hindering SW with his contributions is a different matter. MuteSpittah (talk) 14:32, 12 March 2016 (EST)

Multiple revisions on the same page in a short span of time[edit]

One of the things I've noticed coming from your IP is exactly what I mentioned above-this is most notable on the SSB4 Ganondorf article. While it is nice to have changes for the better on any page, it'd be convenient if you could edit whatever you plan to edit in significantly fewer entries than you currently put in. This makes it easier for admins and figures of similar status to search through entry histories to pinpoint something if ever need be. That's all I got, have a nice day. 15DollarsWentSouth 08:54, 4 May 2016 (EDT)

Again for a future reference, read the reminder bottom and try not to clog the recent change.

Policy.png Reminder: Please use the Show preview button located next to the Save page button to preview your edits. This prevents consecutive edits to the same page from clogging up the recent changes list.

I don't think the IP is going to follow this anytime soon Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ I'm just uploading this for him. 20:57, 3 August 2016 (EDT)
Looks like it. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 173.171.56.222 21:04, 3 August 2016 (EDT)
@KirbysCrazyAppetite: I asked them to do that so I can better keep up with their edits. Please don't yell at them for it. Serpent SKSig.png King 22:05, 3 August 2016 (EDT)
KirbysCrazyAppetite's comment didn't come off as yelling. If anything, he just came off as a dick that offered no constructive criticism. Oh well, at least he was snarky, which is somewhat more tolerable compared to how BeepYou and Drill Blaster Mark 2 came off as arrogant cunts. 173.171.56.222 23:45, 3 August 2016 (EDT)
Watch your attitude. That was a direct violation of SW:NPA. Disaster Flare My signature image for the default signature. Duplicate of Lucina's life white stock head. (talk) 23:51, 3 August 2016 (EDT)
Penro, 15Dollars, Luigi540, BaconMaster, MuteSpittah and Serpent King proved that it's easy to offer constructive criticism without coming off like a needlessly rude prick, so surely BeepYou, Drill Master and KCA can do the same. 173.171.56.222 00:02, 4 August 2016 (EDT)

(reset indent) Enough. That doesn't give you an excuse to belittle them. Rules are rules, and just like everyone else who contributes, you are expected to follow them. As cliched as it is, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. End of story. Disaster Flare My signature image for the default signature. Make sure you run that little tidbit by BeepYou, Drill Master and KirbysCrazyAppetite, since it's clear you haven't. 173.171.56.222 00:34, 4 August 2016 (EDT)
Note my tone, please learn how to reply before calling someone a dick Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ I'm just uploading this for him. 00:13, 4 August 2016 (EDT)
Please learn how to give constructive criticism. You came off as a dick, pure and simple. But like I said, you at least brought some snark to the table to make your initial comment somewhat tolerable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 173.171.56.222 00:34, 4 August 2016 (EDT)
Ok ok let me jump in here. A few points to make:
  1. KCA, please remember that you are not an admin nor the chief of police. You sometimes make comments that are just plain unnecessary (such as the one above). Try to avoid this.
  2. IP, please understand that while I do fully understand the pain of someone deciding that they are going to make criticisms without properly backing them up is a pain. That said, this...um...rudeness is not the way to deal with it. As I just have, I try to talk to people to keep them on the same track and keep criticism constructive. If you feel that someone is going against that, please feel free to tell me about it instead of blowing up at them

Thanks @ both Serpent SKSig.png King 00:20, 4 August 2016 (EDT)

Fair enough. And while we've had our differences, thanks for reinforcing why I name dropped you on how constructive criticism can be done right. 173.171.56.222 00:34, 4 August 2016 (EDT)

Ok so here's the deal.[edit]

You have been making edits that, while they add some good things to the page, destroy the grammar and spelling of the page. These edits are massive, too massive for me to go through each one and pick out the bad things. While your intentions are in good faith I have to ask you to stop making these massive edits. Failure to do so will result in a block. Serpent SKSig.png King 02:37, 30 June 2016 (EDT)

Something I've noticed[edit]

You tend to respond to posts on here on the other person's talkpage. Typically, It's better to keep the conversation in one place instead of two. So please try to respond to posts here. Thanks! And also, you really should create an account. It is much better for the IP, trust me. PenroImage.pngPenro 22:29, 3 July 2016 (EDT)

  • I figured that responding to another user's comment on their own talk page would be more effective as a means of letting them know that I heard what they had to say. But I'll take your advice into account and keep responses to myself right here. Thanks for the head's up. 173.171.56.222 17:38, 4 July 2016 (EDT)
An icon used in notice templates. This is an IP's talk page. While it's not a requirement to have a username, those that do not can only be recognized by their IP address, which can change over time and/or be assigned to an unrelated user; they can even be shared by multiple users. If this talk page belongs to your IP but its comments are intended for someone else, you may want to login or create an account to eliminate future confusion.
