Reordered Ultimate's formula because it is getting complex and incorporated spirit into it. I'm fairly certain it is a quadratic, but the exact values I'm not sure; has accuracy issues with small values. I'm more interested in item restrictions at the moment, so if someone wants to find a more accurate solution and edit this page feel free. My spreadsheet is still linked on the hitlag talk page undo

I may be able to work out a smoother curve to work with using 1/4 speed, but that means I need to record then frame count and assumes it works cleanly undo

The JP data wiki mentions something about a quadratic formula (https://w.atwiki.jp/smashsp_kensyou/pages/88.html) but I'm not sure if I'm just dumb, if something is lost in translation, if their wiki is inaccurate, or a mix of the three undo

  • curprev 13:4813:48, June 24, 2021CanvasK talk contribsm 6,371 bytes +36 I'll do my revisions here until I work out the player multiplier. It is, at the very least, before crouching; whether it is before, after, or with the others I'm not sure yet undo

"h", "e", "s" order is impossible to test because of the commutative property, but it doesn't really matter. The spirit formula could be incorporated in the standard formula as a variable, but it may get confusing and competitive players are allergic to casual stuff undo

Another bullet point gone with it being written into the formula. Also "d" is never rounded down except maybe Melee, but ⌊⌊d⌋/x+3⌋ is identical to ⌊d/x+3⌋ when "x" is a whole number undo

  • curprev 22:5622:56, June 8, 2021CanvasK talk contribsm 5,975 bytes −124 →‎Formula: Turns out Wii U's Wii VC doesn't support the adapter. Used Dolphin since I don't have a composite-to-hdmi, Brawl should be 100% the same as Smash 4. This point is unneeded if the majority of games play by that rule and it is written in the formula. Should be able to remove Melee's once that is tested and put in the formula undo
  • curprev 11:4011:40, June 8, 2021CanvasK talk contribs 6,099 bytes +32 →‎Formula: Verified that SSB4 is the same order as SSBU. I'll be testing SSBB at some point, SSBM if I can get the composite-to-hdmi from my friend, and maybe Equipment just for completion. No idea why several sources put a "-1" at the end of SSB4's, I assume it has to do with the SDI window but it is impractical/impossible for me to test undo

  • curprev 18:4518:45, June 7, 2021CanvasK talk contribs 6,067 bytes +32 More testing in Ult. The order that electric and crouch occur and when flooring is done is important. Some configurations (such as crouch before electric and flooring each) can cause frames to be skipped. Testing also shows the hitlag multiplier is before the first floor. Not sure if brackets or spelling out FLOOR() would be best, using brackets for now undo
