Ki Blast (気砲, Energy Cannon) is Goku's side special move.
Overview[edit]
When used, Goku fires a small blast of energy from his hand. If the special button is held, the energy blast will go farther, at the cost of more endlag. If used when a projectile is close to him, Goku will instead deflect the projectile itself, launching it back at an angle. The input can be pressed repeatedly, though not infinitely.
Customization[edit]
Special Move customization was added in Super Smash Bros. 4. These are the variations:
- Ki Blast: Default.
Like the other DLC characters, Goku lacks custom move variations.
Origin[edit]
While a "Ki Blast" is a general term for any attack involving ki itself (such as the Kamehameha), the particular attack that appears in Smash Bros. is based on the ability that many Dragon Ball characters possess in the video games, including Goku.
