Like in Smashboards results, it's supposed to be characters the player used to advanced with. For example, someone going Pichu in a match and losing with Pichu, to then go back to their mains and win, shouldn't have Pichu listed as a character they used. Additionally, a higher placing player who used Pichu to beat some far below player in early bracket/pools, who they could have stomped with their mains (or any other character), shouldn't have Pichu listed as a character they used, as Pichu had no real impact on their placing.
