Dirty South Tournament 5 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament held in Montpellier, France, on December 16th, 2006. It was the fifth iteration of the Dirty South Tournament series.
Format[edit]
The tournament began with a Swiss Rounds phase, with sets being best of 3. Top 16 advanced to the double-elimination bracket, with sets becoming best of 5 starting from the second round. Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals were best of 7.
Stagelist[edit]
Only the following stages were legal: Final Destination, Dream Land N64, Pokémon Stadium. Dave's Stupid Rule was not applied during the counterpicking process.
