To be clear, this is a policy proposal; I can't make any guarantees that I could actually add it to the templates. I could try, but my template-fu is a little rusty. This talk page section is to discuss whether or not I should even try. My proposal is simply this: Blue Alloy and Red Alloy are, at their most basic, the successors to the Wire Frames in Melee (which are the successors to the Fighting Polygon Team); thus, their MvSubNav templates should have a Melee tabber that links to the Wire Frames' move pages (and vice-versa for the inevitable MvSubNavFemaleWireFrame and MvSubNavMaleWireFrame). Of course, one could argue that that only applies for identical characters, and not spiritual successors. After all, the Blue Alloy and FMF look similar, but have completely different texturing and are not the same characters by a long shot. Mariogeek2 (talk) 23:10, July 9, 2025 (EDT)
- I don't think this is a good idea because the user is not going to understand why the link is sending them there until they come to the same conclusion themselves, which may not happen at all because it's not that obvious. Toomai Glittershine
