This is not a glitch,it is obviously programmed into the game Hatake91 (talk) 23:02, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

They programmed people to survive with zero HP. Right. Tooooootally. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 23:22, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Only for Giga Bowser, what would you do for this if you were Nintendo?Make it so Giga bowser can die with just Pikachu's neutral A?Its explained in most guidebooks and the mechanics in the game. Hatake91 (talk) 19:13, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Why not? Anyone else in stamina would die too given enough hits. Why is Giga Bowser the exception? It's a glitch. - Gargomon251 (talk) 20:08, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Because in regular KO matches Giga bowser is invincible(unless you suicide of something),So he should be the same in stamina mode(technically you still can't kill Giga bowser as he transforms into Bowser when he hits 0).If you guys are gonna call this a glitch then We might as well make pages about how ANYONE with super armor will survive at 0 HP until its gone.and Super armor is static in nearly all of the final smashes anyway.Giga bowser for some reason nintendo programmed he can get hurt in stamina mode thus resulting in an *accident* something not intentionally done but is explained in the mechanics.(sorta like wavedashing) Hatake91 (talk) 23:24, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
WRONG! Giga Bowser is not invincible whatsever! He only gets knockback resistance! Were you listening to Prima again? - Gargomon251 (talk) 05:32, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
But... in that, it said (somewhere, maybe the dojo) that Giga Bowser couldn't die until it was regular bowser. UberPhoeba b c 13:35, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Invincible is not the same as invulneralble. He simply doesn't take any knockback. The reason he can't "die" as Giga is because he can't be knocked out, and he transforms back at 0 stamina. He still takes all hits, try it in training with the home run bat. - Gargomon251 (talk) 02:31, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
I was using the word invincible for super armor where you take damage but not knockback, were you not reading the last part? And btw,I believe what I find it true and I need proof to believe in something. And giga can be knocked out if one suicides nintendo progammed that he will die if he touches the edge like any other character. If we keep this article I better see more glitch pages about how if any character is using super armor they can still survive even at 0 HP. Hatake91 (talk) 20:43, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Regardless, invincible means no damage AND no knockback. Meaning nothing at all has any effect, just like if you had the Starman. Did you see the invincible article? - Gargomon251 (talk) 21:56, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

This isnt a glitch, someone would have the change the article name

Yes I did, which is why I'm changing my statement to just super armor frames(No knockback but still takes damage), Giga bowser has no invincibility only super armor frames. So are you happy now? Hatake91 (talk) 02:19, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Actually, I bet this is intentional, partly so they wouldn't have to create any dead Giga Bowser animations and partly so there's not a gigantic corpse littering the battlefield.–Entrea Sumatae 02:26, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Exactly my point, only that it would be kinda weird for a final smash being defeated.(I meant honestly what idiot would do that intentionally after so much bragging about it?) - Hatake91 (talk) 02:30, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

I used to think that this wasn't a glitch, but it doesn't work for Wario-Man (He can hurt himself using chomp on an exploding box.) Maxiscool (talk) 15:58, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Unverified claims?[edit]

Why is the "unverified claims" thing up there? It totally works. Maxiscool (talk) 20:01, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Claims are nothing without the evidence to back it up. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 00:28, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Rule one of Brawl glitches: Youtube verifies anything–Entrea Sumatae 02:02, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Well there we go. That just needs to be added to the article, not the talk page. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 02:40, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Moved[edit]

To an easier (not to mention more accurate, since it's been found Wario does it too) name.–Entrea Sumatae 03:33, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

R.O.B.?[edit]

I have heard some where that you can do the glitch with R.O.B. by going in the magnifying glass at the top of the screen. Can someone verify this? I do not have the resources to test this myself. Zaphod (talk) 17:22, 6 March 2015 (EST)

It's an interesting thought, but I am relatively (albeit not completely) sure that R.O.B. is immune to damage during Diffusion Beam, including hoop damage. I agree somebody with Brawl handy should check, though. Miles (talk) 17:31, 6 March 2015 (EST)

Ultimate[edit]

There is a similar glitch involving Ridley that lets him play with zero stocks in Ultimate. How could this be integrated into the article? It doesn't involve Stamina mode or transformation Final Smashes. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer (talk) 19:21, August 28, 2020 (EDT)

I don't have the time to watch the vid so this is just a draft, but here's how I would do it. At the end where it states it can't be done in Ultimate we can put "With the removal of full moveset transformation Final Smashes in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, these characters can no longer perform undead glitch in the game. However, there is a similar glitch that allows Ridley to be able to fight with zero stocks, without the use of Stamina mode or Final Smashes. It can be done by *insert explanation here*."
