This page is missing the notice you get from getting the Sound Test in the original Smash. I have it written down, I can get it tomorrow. --RoyboyX (talk) 22:04, 8 September 2011 (EDT)

The article was missing the Item Switch in the Super Smash Bros. section. Marioisawesome118MarioHeadSSBM.pngzaer (talk) 15:36, 20 October 2011 (EDT)

What is meant by the part about how the Samus Unmasked and Mario and Yoshi trophy unlock bonuses are exclusive to the west? Are those bonuses not in the Japanese version?--Flameduck (talk) 07:37, 11 January 2015 (EST)

Smash 4[edit]

Why are Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U thrown together? They have different milestones. —Fenhl 22:59, 21 March 2015 (EDT)

I am starting {{List of milestones (SSB4-3DS)}} and {{List of milestones (SSB4-Wii U)}} in an effort to split the messages by game version and region. Please help out by adding missing milestone messages. Once these are sufficiently complete, they can be transcluded into the article, replacing the current merged table. —Fenhl 06:04, 24 July 2015 (EDT)

Rename this page to "Milestone" and make a new article for patch notes/DLC announcements[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, notices are called "milestones". This fact is acknowledged already. What isn't acknowledged yet is *why*: because "Notices" now refer to the patch notes and DLC announcements accessible from the main menu. The ones that have exclamation points in yellow speech balloons marking them as unread.

I admit to having a personal motive to wanting this article renamed to "Milestone": because there really needs to be instructions on how to mark a Notice (patch notes and/or DLC announcement) as read and remove the annoying yellow exclamation point from it. Simply opening it, scrolling to the bottom, and pressing A to view the image does not work in either game. Google searching does not find anything about it at all.

If it is indeed impossible to mark a Notice as read, then I won't care as much about renaming this page. 13:15, 26 November 2015 (EST)

Support. See Talk:Gold (collectable) for a similar discussion where the article was moved. A stronger focus on Smash 4 may also help justify the split into 3DS and Wii U sections (see above). —Fenhl 16:39, 26 November 2015 (EST)

Smash Ultimate Battle Milestones Proof?[edit]

Is there a source for the 100,000 and 1,000,000 matches milestones in Smash Ultimate? The text for them doesn't appear in the Milestones text dump and I have not seen them anywhere else on the internet, and someone recorded themselves reaching 100,000 and didn't get a milestone:

Were they added in a patch or are they fake?—Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) 18:16, 4 March 2019 (EST)
