Link to posters page[edit]

Although I understand and agree with Aidan's logic, I don't think it really applies in this case. Miles has already said that we may not even need such a page since only one of the three newcomers has gotten a poster so far. It's not that hard to add a link later if we decide we do need it, but right now that page would be useless, so there's no reason to link to it. TheNuttyOne 19:20, 23 July 2018 (EDT)

Related thought: if the posters thing is SSB4 newcomers + Inkling but nobody after that, I'd suggest renaming the existing page to take the game title out and just have it be "List of character posters". That's if and only if Inkling's the only SSBU newcomer that gets one though, which we won't know for a while. Miles (talk) 19:37, 23 July 2018 (EDT)

Would anyone protest if I removed the link again, based on what I said above? (also, Miles, I agree with your statement) TheNuttyOne 14:03, 24 July 2018 (EDT)

Yeah no need for it. Serpent SKSig.png King 14:20, 24 July 2018 (EDT)

Nintendo tweeted "Luigi is okay" in response to Simon's trailer.[edit]

Is this worth adding to Simon's section? Unowninator (talk) 22:17, 8 August 2018 (EDT)

It’s not that notable IMO. It’s pretty obviously just playing along with some jokes online. Nyargleblargle.pngNyargleblargle (Contribs) 22:24, 8 August 2018 (EDT)

Add Chrom and Dark Samus?[edit]

Both of them have each short gameplay segment in the Direct, which can be covered in this article. Infinite8Bros64 (talk) 23:44, 8 August 2018 (EDT)

Semicolons[edit]

The IP's edit(s) to this page to separate items in the veterans list by semicolons is correct grammar. "Use a semicolon between items in a list or series if any of the items contain commas." I am reverting it to the correct version, as this is not a matter of opinion. – Emmett 06:03, 13 January 2019 (EST)

Should the cinematic trailer be added to this page?[edit]

Links[edit]

I think we should have links to the individual trailers. Not only does the equivalent article for Smash 4 have them (if I remember correctly), but also the link to the Smash YouTube channel leads to Nintendo’s channel (as do all “Super Smash Bros.” YouTube links). I actually came to this page looking for the version of Joker’s trailer without the Game Awards reference so... yeah. I think that’d be nice. Aykrivwassup (talk) 20:40, June 9, 2019 (EDT)
