Move to Smash Ladder

Anther's Ladder hasn't been called Anther's Ladder in years. It should be moved to its newer name, Smash Ladder. Mario Maniac 14:37, October 9, 2026 (UTC)

When was the name changed? From a quick check, this ladder doesn't seem to be used all that much anymore, compared to other NA ladders. Melee especially seems to have been dead since Slippi came out. It could very much be an AllIsBrawl situation where the original name is still more well known than the current name, especially as it was used during its prime. Also does not help seeing Lewdcario as an admin when she has not been involved in Smash in any known capacity since her controversy during the pandemic period. CookiesCreme 17:27, October 9, 2026 (UTC)

Based on archives, it went by Smash Ladder back around October 2014, switched to Anther's Ladder the next month, then Smash Ladder around May 2026. This is based only on the logo in the top-left. "Anther's Ladder" is consistently in the website's flavor text (such as when looking at the tab) and "Smash Ladder" is often found in the body text and logos, all regardless of the date. --CanvasK (talk) 18:11, October 9, 2026 (UTC)

Seems like a rebrand that failed to catch on. Looking online and people still call it Anther's Ladder. I think that settles it. CookiesCreme 20:41, October 9, 2026 (UTC)
