Notability[edit]

Even if the page was meant to promote someone's legitimacy, depending on how notable Arbiter is as a commentator I'd say this page should be fine. We are generally slow for making pages on commentators (notable ones like Charles Thoren didn't even get a page until recently) so it would be great to get some help from in-region players who are familiar with this stuff.

In regards to ATW's comment to check on FireThePyro's past page creations, all of them are perfectly fine in terms of notability. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 08:41, March 22, 2022 (EDT)

A quick check to Arbiter's resume, he's made commentating appearances at several notable tournaments, including top 8 for PGR-level regionals such as Back in Blood 3 and top 32 for majors such as Glitch - Infinite. I think that's enough to warrant a page on the wiki. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 08:52, March 22, 2022 (EDT)
Yeah, keep. Arbiter is a pretty well known commentator. Gained particular notoriety at a national level in the last year or so. Wiifitkid (talk) 09:14, March 22, 2022 (EDT)

Commentary over Results[edit]

My reasoning for making this page is for Arbiter's abilities as a commentator over his tournament results. His notoriety as a personality on the mic is what warrants his page, and I wouldn't create such a page if results were the only thing to speak about (And for the record, all other player pages I created DID meet this requirement. Not sure where the claim that my notability standards are slipping comes from.)

I feel scummy taking off the "Dubious Notability" tag because it was a page I created and being the arbiter (pun not intended) of a discussion I caused feels suspect. That being said, it seems like people generally agree that this page should stay for the reason listed above, so I ask that someone else do it if they agree with what I have to say.
