'''Savestate''' is a ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' player from [[North Carolina]] who currently resides in Redmond, [[Washington]]. She is known as a very style-oriented {{SSBM|Link}} main and is responsible for discovering several of Link's more esoteric techniques, such as [[Bomb Launching]], [[Ghost Arrow]], [[Dimensional Arrow]], and [[Bomb Rocket]]. Savestate has notably taken sets off of {{Sm|Cob}}, {{Sm|Tylenol}}, and {{Sm|Feradit}}. During her residency in Sweden, she got ranked 7th on the [[Swedish Power Rankings]], while before that managing 10th on the [[North Carolina Power Rankings]].

In addition to her technical discoveries, Savestate is also known for taking on the role of community streamer and graphic designer for the North Carolina ''Melee'' community. Her endeavors in streaming led Savestate to create [https://youtube.com/smashdotlive smash.LIVE] as a streaming service for North Carolina, later joining [[Recursion]] as a producer and designer.

Outside of tournaments, Savestate also occasionally competes in speedrunning ''Melee''{{'}}s 1-P modes.
