==Overview==
When used, the Gunner aims downwards and releases an explosion, launching into the air. The explosion does 7% damage and can hit edgeguarders below them while recovering high, where it would normally be dangerous.

In ''Ultimate'', the move boasts a superior vertical recovery and its projectile deals far more knockback, which also makes it great for edgeguarding opponents who recover low. However, its landing lag has been increased by an extra frame, making it even more punishable, and the projectile has low enough priority to be nullified by many attacks, limiting its uses against recovery moves that have hitboxes. As a recovery itself, it covers a great distance, which compliments the Gunner's durability, but it lacks a hitbox on the Gunner themselves, making the move easily edgeguarded, itself. It also only travels straight upwards and cannot sweetspot the ledge from behind.
