Lucina (SSBU)/Dash attack
Overview[edit]
Lucina rushes forward before executing an upward-sweeping diagonal slash. Coming out on frame 13 and having 33 frames of endlag, the attack deals 10.925% if it successfully connected. Compared to her ground and aerial-based attacks, her dash attack is comparatively quite slow, being slower than her forward smash in startup. Lucina's dash attack is also hindered by its lack of KOing potential, struggling to KO middleweights even at 130%, while also having very little combo potential even at low percentages. Her turnaround forward smash functions as a far more rewarding move to execute, coming out in fewer frames and having higher damage and KO potential.
Overall, the move's sluggishness, low comboing and KO potential, and being outclassed result in Lucina's dash attack to being considered her least useful move overall in her kit and a poor dash attack in general.
