Jigglypuff (SSBM)/Up smash

Overview[edit]
Jigglypuff does a headbutt, launching any opponents caught in the blast directly upwards with no DI. The move sees niche use as an out of shield option, although its primary use is as a kill confirm against floaties, especially another Jigglypuff or Peach, done by comboing Jigglypuff's drill directly into this move. Against fast-fallers at mid-to-high percents, if the opponent poorly DI's it, it can potentially combo into Rest, although this is usually more of a rare opportunity than an intentional act.

Trivia[edit]
- Due to hitbox priority, Jigglypuff is never able to deal 15% damage to the opponent, as the 15% hitbox is entirely inside the larger, higher priority 14% hitbox.[1]
- Up smash is a frame faster than up tilt, although it has much higher end lag to compensate.
