Jigglypuff is voiced by Mika Kanai in Japanese, Rachael Lillis in English, Guylaine Gibert in French, and Mara Winzer in German. Some of Mika Kanai's recordings are from episodes 45 and 62 of the Pokémon anime. Jigglypuff ranks 6th, right in the middle of the tier list, in the B tier. It is notable for being the lightest, floatiest, and lowest gravity character in the game. Jigglypuff has many low knockback attacks, which when combined with its floatiness, can be abused to its advantage in several combos against heavier characters, especially by gimping them or carrying them all the way to the lateral blast lines. It also has some moves with disproportionate power, like its up smash, back throw, and the famous Rest. However, because Jigglypuff is so light and floaty, it is very easy to KO. In addition, Jigglypuff lacks a rising up special move for recovery, forcing it to rely on its remaining midair jumps and Pound to recover.

It also has some moves with disproportionate power, like its up smash, back throw, and the famous Rest. Jigglypuff also has a good air game for its multiple jumps, the highest air acceleration, combo game and low lag attacks. Jigglypuff also good follow ups for owning good combo potential attacks like it's down, right, left, up and neutral air, up tilt, jab, down tilt, left & up smash at early percentages and it's regular throw which can be comboes into REST. However, because Jigglypuff is so light and floaty, it is very easy to KO. In addition, Jigglypuff lacks a rising up special move for recovery, forcing it to rely on its remaining midair jumps and Pound to recover. Jigglypuff has poor defense game because none of its attacks or Moveset can be used defensively outside of rest. Rest only keeps opponents asleep when the opponent is below 60% but when spamming any controls reduce the time limit of the opponent sleep. Jigglypuff shield is the worst in the game for it being shield stabbed, and when destroyed Jigglypuff can die on any Percent, Even on 0! Jigglypuff despite being hard to attack, it's range is amongst the worst in the game.

Jigglypuff's pros are considered to be on par with its flaws, and because of this, it has some favorable to even matchups in the current metagame, and has achieved above average tournament representation and results. However, Jigglypuff ranks worse in Japan at 8th, due to the higher strengths some other characters have in comparison to Jigglypuff.

Jigglypuff has Below Average Matchups. Because of it being fragile, short range and lack of defensive moves. It struggles against speedy characters like Pikachu, Fox & Captain Falcon. And because the player is force to play offensively in the air when it can be combined and KOED easily, Jigglypuff is bad against characters like Kirby, Mario or Luigi who has good comboes and 0 to death. Especially Luigi because for him owning multiple KO options (Up special, Down special, Side smash, down smash, up smash, left & right throw when near the ledge). But since Jigglypuff has good comboes, air game and punish game. It goes well against DK for his tall and big size. Jigglypuff is decent against Samus because while Jigglypuff can combo Samus. Samus owns long reach attacks, High Survivability and owning Screw attack. A move that is activated in Frame 1 with Invinbility for a few seconds.
