Forum:SmashBoards legacy links

As you may have heard/realized/raged over, SmashBoards has a different infrastructure now. Notably, the link structure for topics has changed. Using the link on Bowser Challenge as an example:

  • Old: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=49245
  • New: http://www.smashboards.com/threads/the-real-bowser-challenge-not-really-character-specific.49245/ (the text between "threads/" and ".49245" seems to be optional and renames itself to the topic title no matter what you make it)

Currently, the old way redirects to the new way, but if that ever breaks or is disabled we'll be left with tons of dead links (albeit easily fixable). The question is this: Do we need to change all SmashBoards links to match the new format, or can we leave them in their "legacy" form as long as they work? Toomai Glittershine ???
