The Bouncing Fish is a move original to Smash and does not appear in any other The Legend of Zelda media, used by either Sheik or other characters. The move does resemble a Tengkong Pantui Cepu, a kick used in the wikipedia martial art, with an added 360° midair twist. | The Bouncing Fish is a move original to Smash and does not appear in any other The Legend of Zelda media, used by either Sheik or other characters. The name Bouncing Fish is possibly a reference to a cutscene in Ocarina of Time. After Link defeats the water temple, Sheik is shown diving into Lake Hylia as a flashy exit, hence a connection to marine life. The move itself also resembles the way a fish violently flops around when it is forced onto land. The move, like most of Sheik's moveset, is a smash original as Sheik has never been playable in any mainline Legend of Zelda game. | |||
