Hello! I'm just some random guy who plays Super Smash Bros. often. I prefer Melee to Brawl, but I like both a lot. I've never been to a tournament. My skill level is above average overall.

  Has great combo ability and many moves that I really like (dair, blaster, shine, bair, u-tilt, f-smash, d-smash). Even though I don't have much tech skill I can use him quite well. Let's not forget to mention that u-smash and uair. WoP, edgeguarding ability, and bair put Jigglypuff very high on my list. Has a lot of combo-friendly moves (u-tilt, fair, uair) and is a great character overall Although her playstyle can sometimes be a bit awkward, I can do well with her, and her fair is one of my favourite attacks. Fast movement, very powerful u-smash, and a great semi-spike in his uair. He just has trouble approaching though. Another character with great combos. Uair is useful for a lot of situations and the Knee Smash is pretty damn good. His extreme offstage power and great aerials are his strongest points. Has a very powerful b-throw and his bair can edgeguard quite well. Only real problem is his terrible recovery. Like Dr. Mario, but with much less KO potential and better recovery. Among my favourite characters outside of Smash Bros., and his attacks are fairly powerful, though he lacks any moves that I especially like. Fun to use, but he is just so easy to juggle and KO. He does have some great attacks, like his fair, b-throw, u-throw, and Shadow Ball.

Has a great wavedash and good aerials, but his combination of being floaty, having a very low air speed, and having very low traction is kind of awkward in a fast-paced game. I can't really use him effectively but I sometimes use him anyway. Has powerful attacks and lots of recovery options. I don't use her that much. Her aerials are quite good but I find her ground attacks mediocre. Like Link, her recovery has a lot of options. Basically just a faster and less powerful version of Link who can't bomb jump. Of course he's ridiculously easy to KO, but he does have some powerful attacks (like his u-smash) and useful aerials (especially the nair). And he's very fast. Although he's powerful, has great range, and has good horizontal recovery, I never really liked him as a character in Melee, and he's so vulnerable to meteor smashes and spikes. Nair is a powerful move and is great for finishing combos. Other than that, meh. Does really badly against most characters. The only things I like about him are his fair, f-smash, and Fortresshogging. All he can do in Melee is Kirbycide... Flaw KOing at its finest. I just don't like her, whether it's Smash Bros. or not. Only good finishers are his bair (which is hard to sweetspot) and his b-throw (which is screwed by his very low grab range). Gets edgeguarded easily by almost everyone. Short range, 2-in-1 gimmick doesn't suit me at all, and I don't like the character. Don't even know her moveset well, and nothing about her makes me want to try and become better with her.

Great KO power, fast speed, very good recovery, two chaingrabs, and of course QAC. He has very good smashes and specials, and his nair can be useful. His entire moveset consits of attacks that I like, in particular his d-smash, aerials, d-throw, and Shuttle Loop. Now he has a chaingrab. Yeah, those bananas are pretty damn good. He also has some great moves, especially his fair and d-smash. Only thing I don't like is how he relies on his bananas to set up KOs. Sliding u-smash can come out of nowhere, and his dair can set it up really well. And the u-tilt can chain into itself against most fastfallers. Very good aerials and pretty good combo ability - his u-tilt, aerials, and u-throw can be good. And his f-smash has ridiculous range. What a buff! Surprisingly very strong smashes, and some great moves, including the nair, bair, and d-throw tech-chasing. I like the pivot grab, aerials (especially uair), Egg Throw, and the character, but using him effectively is rather difficult. Another great buff. Kirby has some great moves (including his u-tilt, f-smash, bair, and throw followups). People need to stop spamming his f-smash though. Has two great projectiles and some pretty good aerials, plus a great recovery, but he can have serious trouble KOing. He has quick and powerful aerials, as well as some good smashes (dat f-smash), plus Luigi Cyclone is 20 times better than in Melee. His very bad range and approach keep him from being higher however. Some good moves (bair, d-throw, u-tilt), and is very hard to KO and edgeguard. Sometimes he just doesn't feel right for me though. Very good and useful mobility, not much else to say, other than that he doesn't even feel like a large character.

  Very good uair and lots of ways to approach with Spin Dash. Has extreme difficulty KOing at times. She's fast and has a great d-smash that basically guarantees a combo at low-mid percentages or a KO at high percentages. And the projectiles at the start of the match are useful. Can be fun to use, and the DACUS is great, as well as his tilts. I can't really use his grenades, mines, and C4s properly though. Very powerful, crazy IASA frames, and some great moves, like his jab, fair, and Quickdraw. Plus his recovery can meteor smash opponents off the ledge. He can't even combo well anymore and he just feels so different than in Melee. He does still have some good moves though, like his fair and uair. Nerfed. Still has some useful moves, but can't even KO reliably under very high percentages. Huge nerfs, damnit. What the hell happened to Rest? And now the WoP can be air dodged out of. That said, he can still be quite fun to use and mess around with. Being hard to KO is a good thing, and he does have some cool moves (f-smash, uair, f-throw), but he can sometimes feel a bit awkward for me. Still his good offensive abilities and the Cape is still awesome, but his abilties are outshined by almost everyone... Squirtle would probably be around B+ tier if I could use him individually, Charizard would be around C tier, and Ivysaur would be around D tier. The stamina gimmick is just a piece of crap, and the Pokémon switching automatically when KO'd doesn't help either. Squirtle has a great fair and d-throw, and Charizard can be fun to use, but Ivysaur's attacks are a bit too slow to do anything effective, plus he gets edgeguarded easily. If they removed the stamina gimmick and autoswitch, I would be more than happy. Pretty much the same as in Melee.

Still very powerful, but still really sluggish and easy to combo. Higher than before because of his speed buffs. Fair, bair, b-throw, and dash attack aren't bad moves at all, but his recovery still sucks and I can't use him effectively. I CAN'T LAND THE KNEE. Seriously, I can't land any of his attacks. The hitboxes are placed so badly. Another character who got nerfed badly... I don't really use him in Brawl, but Flame Choke'ing people who don't know what to do can be fun. The only thing she can do is zair camp. He does have a pretty good aerial game and u-smash, but I never really like his playstyle and I can't play as him well. Still have terrible range and rely on chaingrabbing to do anything worthwhile. I can't pull of their chaingrabs and am not interested in mastering them. What good moves does she have... d-tilt? I can't think of anything else. Can't really use him in Brawl. King of the Spammers. His arrows are the only thing I like about him. He has big trouble KOing and has bad range, even with a "sword". Never liked him, never will. Laggy aerials, laggy grab, laggy smashes, and gets grab released to death by Marth, Snake, and Donkey Kong. Annoying character, annoying recovery. Don't like anything about her. Don't even know his moveset. And he's one of the most annoying characters to face.
