A Trophy Tussle is a type of event match in Super Smash Bros. Melee where four characters (one human and three CPUs) battle atop a giant trophy. Each fighter has two stocks, and there is a three-minute time limit. Opponents will sometimes use alternate costumes. If the player wins the battle, they will receive a trophy version of the stage as a reward. There are three Trophy Tussles.
- Event 14: Trophy Tussle 1 (Stage: Goomba)
- Event 26: Trophy Tussle 2 (Stage: Entei)
- Event 47: Trophy Tussle 3 (Stage: Majora's Mask)
