For reasons of comparison, I find it more beneficial to leave them in the same template. The "counterpart" nature of the 3DS/Wii U versions makes having both in this template useful; it's not quite like the difference between Melee and Brawl. Miles (talk) 16:37, 7 June 2015 (EDT)

It's more to do with the games' stagelists being a direct point of comparison worth grouping together here than it is how many are the same. Miles (talk) 10:10, 8 June 2015 (EDT)

I don't think size is a very valid issue to me at all, sure it IS quite a big table, but even if it's just a stagelist, it's a proper and good one. It's still a very easy way to navigate among the stagelists, as if one stagelist was on a different page, then the other one wouldn't be there for one to check the entire series stagelist.
