:I am of the rather strong opinion that one should not use X (designed for X) for Y just because it happens to work for Y. I'd have to hear a majority say otherwise before I don't discourage it. I understand the humor, but I still maintain that it can give implications of the fact that the template should not be used for the purpose of interwiki linking.
