Future.png This is a pre-release screenshot of a game.
After the game's release, this image will need to be checked to see whether what it depicts has been notably altered, and if so, this should be considered a beta image.

Usage

Place {{Prerelease image}} in the summary of an image. This template adds images to Category:Pre-release images.

Once the game in question has been released, every image tagged with this template will need to be compared with the final game. Images that are reasonably similar to the final product can simply have the template removed. Images that have something noticably changed should be treated as beta images and be added to the appropriate categories; their usages should also be edited to state the betaness.
