Tamagon is the main character of the NES game Devil World. He goes the a maze to collect Crosses in order to defeat the Devil.
In the Super Smash Bros. series
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Tamagon appears as a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee, however it is only available through hacking in the US version of SSBM, and is completely removed in the PAL version. The trophy description itself also has a mistake - Demon World has been released not only in Japan, but also in Europe.

In this quirky maze game, your goal was to work your way through a series of scrolling mazes while battling the cyclopean henchmen of a large, winged demon. Tamagon not only had to worry about the evil creatures, but also the walls, which were extremely harmful."
