I know he's the creator of Earthbound - as a fan of that game I deeply respect him - but what exactly did he do for super smash bros? I didn't even know he worked for HAL Labratory. I thought he was just a story writer. Sir Anon the great 03:28, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

Actually, checking SSB64's credits reveals that the only reason he's even mentioned there is because he created one of the characters. He didn't actually help. Mr. Anon (talk) 01:25, 3 April 2011 (EDT)

I still say we create a page that gives brief blurbs about all of the major individuals from the credits of the Smash games, and Mr. Itoi would definitely fall into that category. He is, after all, the only person listed by name on Brawl's title screen. Miles (talk) 11:38, 3 April 2011 (EDT)

Discuss here. Itoi was never a part of the development team for 64 or Melee. He was merely listed under the "Original Game Staff" sections of both games as Earthbound producer.
