Chain Chomp Design

Isn't the appearance of Chain Chomp's chain in Smash 4 based on Super Mario 3D Land/World? Both use the same design with the circular chain and they are newer games, so it would be more logical that the appearance of the Chain Chomp as a whole is based on SM3DL/W, not SMB3. 62.234.19.70 04:51, 28 August 2014 (EDT)

So is the Chain Chomp part of both the Mario and Zelda franchises or just Mario?

Just Mario, as Chain Chomp has appeared in a total of 2 Zelda games, and the amount of Mario games it appeared in is something like over 30, so… Rtzxy Smashing! 21:04, 30 October 2014 (EDT)
