Fortunately for the smash community, smelly cat still plays melee to this day, participating in various tournaments along the east coast. Known to many as "sensei cat", he can often be found training less advanced smashers in the arts. In melee, he prefers to play higher tier characters, maining [[Marth]], [[Fox]], and [[Falco]], though his favorite character(s) is(are) the [[Ice Climbers]]. He is known for his composed demeanor, and is considered to be a fearsome master of yomi energy, closely resembling a modernized shaolin monk with glorious long hair. No johns.

A Legend Is Born

Neil "smelly cat" C is a professional smasher from central Jersey. He was first introduced to competitive smash by friend and fellow smasher, Parallax, in late 2006. smelly cat quickly caught on to the nuances of the game, and rose to the top practicing with Parallax, eventually surpassing him. Since then, smelly cat has arguably become the most influential player in the smash community since Ken Hoang's retirement in 2008. His contributions to the Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee metagame seem nearly infinite, and would likely take up giga-parcels of wiki if one sought to document it all.

Super Smash Bros. '64

smelly cat made his first official appearance in the community on Kaillera, playing Super Smash Bros. online, starting out as a scrub under the name "amateur". Within weeks however, he had found a joypad and gained complete mastery of Captain Falcon, his signature character, who he played with nearly exclusively. After coming out victorious against a gauntlet of the best players of each character, he received the number two headband and title of "smelly cat" from the smash gods. Wearing both proudly, he was prepared for the long anticipated battle with Isai. There was a lot of dispute about this match, and smashers all over the globe argued until one day, Isai accepted the challenger and donned the number one headband once more. It was to be decided in three best of twenty-one sets at the top of Mt. Shuni. The next day, it began. Both players competed at their highest level, at the top of their game. Both refusing to surrender, they battled for hours. Hours became days. Days became weeks. Weeks became months, until one day, it finally ended. The dispute was over, smelly cat was the new number one. Soon after this, smelly cat disappeared from the '64 scene and picked up melee.

Sacred Jutsus

smelly cat was known for playing creatively, and pioneered a plethora of metagame, known to most as the "Sacred" or "Forbidden" Jutsus. Sadly, his retirement from '64 caused a commotion in the smash community, and haters burned the sacred scrolls his disciples had scribed, setting the '64 community back decades. However, two such jutsus still remain in circulation today, the "smelly dash", and the "hidden lotus".

Super Smash Bros. Melee

Fortunately for the smash community, smelly cat still plays melee to this day, participating in various tournaments along the east coast. Known to many as "sensei cat", he can often be found training less advanced smashers in the arts. In melee, he prefers to play higher tier characters, maining Marth, Fox, and Falco, though his favorite character(s) is(are) the Ice Climbers. He is known for his composed demeanor, and is considered to be a fearsome master of yomi energy, closely resembling a modernized shaolin monk with glorious long hair. No johns.
