Rymo is a retired Melee Fox and Sheik main from Stockton, California. He was previously ranked 19th on the NorCal Power Rankings. He has taken sets off of Spark, MacD, Azel, NMW, and Nut. Prior to his retirement, and following Spark's departure from Santa Cruz, Rymo dominated Santa Cruz melee for a year. Rymo began to experience issues with his wrist, and after a brief stint using the Smash Boxx, Ryan decided to retire from professional Melee.

Trivia
- Rymo is known for his characteristic "Rymo Up-Smash", which is the backwards hitbox of Fox up-smash.
- Rymo is a graduate student studying microbiology and environmental toxicology at UC Santa Cruz.
- Along with being a pro-melee player, Rymo reached Master tier in Overwatch as a Zenyatta main.
- Rymo is also well known for the "Rymo Down-Tilt", which is the use of Fox Down-Tilt in order to extend combos.
