Up until now I prefered not to run for the position of SmashWiki sysop because sysop powers are generally useful for deleting bad content/pages and combatting vandals, which don't seem so helpful to a user that specializes in adding content only like what I've been doing. But I was recently notified that with all the edits and page rewrites I routinely do, I come across as a user who's achieved sysop status already (or at least must be in some sort of prestigious position among SmashWiki users), which is apparently a cause for confusion among people who mistakenly assume I'm a sysop when in fact I'm still technically a "typical" user. Since I don't actually have an opinion ''against'' the sysop position, I'm responding to this concern (and a lot of warm encouragement by other users) by posting my SmashWiki user account here for consideration. (Sorry if I sound dead technical here, but this is a place for aspiring users to show off their "professionalism", right? ^_^)
