SmashDash is a humorous and quick show that recaps the previous week of the Smash Bros. DOJO!! updates. The host, Ian Kovich, gives a short summary for each update in the past week. With a funny attitude and great jokes, Smash Dash is popular among the users of SmashBoards. Smash Dash airs each Sunday around 3:00 P.M. (NST).

Series 2 Ending

Smash Dash ended in the week of Brawl's release in Japan. This was due to the amount of spoilers roaming the internet and that Masahiro Sakurai (Super Smash Bros. Creator & Designer/Coder/Publisher of the Smash Bros. DOJO!! Website.) decided to start posting Spoilers on the Dojo as updates until the American Launch. The voice actor of Smash Dash, Ian Kovich, did not want to know anything about Super Smash Bros. Brawl until it is released in the US and has played it for himself. The Series ended because there was no voice actor. However, it was stated that the series would start again if 2nd Stamp and FoulPlay could acquire James Rolfe (The Angry Video Game Nerd) to be the Voice Actor of Smash Dash, sadly, because it is near enough impossible to even contact James. It was revealed that this was merely a joke to lighten the mood until 02/11/08. Smash Dash has actually emailed James Rolfe in attempt for him to become the Voice Actor of the Smash Dash series beyond Episode 12. Unfortunately, James Rolfe never responded. The Smash Dash site has been shut down, so it's safe to presume that Smash Dash has been canceled.

Easter Eggs

Easter Egg Development

Since the Friday of episode IV had no update, Gimpyfish was going have a part replacing it. Unfortunately, extenuating circumstances stopped Gimpy from turning in his dub to Callum Stamp (2nd Stamp) on time. On New Years it became SmashDash's first Easter Egg.

A false "prophet" known as "The All Mighty Goat" was going to feature a spot on Episode IX, but he was debunked and so his cameo was deleted from the show. However, FoulPlay announced on the website that the spot would be in an upcoming easter egg.
