Mewtwo (SSB4)/Final Smash

Overview

Mewtwo's Final Smash is known as Psystrike. It involves Mewtwo Mega Evolving into Mega Mewtwo Y and unleashing a dark sphere of energy. Anyone caught will suffer a "mental shock" and heavy knockback. While the sphere is large and has high speed, its linear path can make it easy to avoid. It should be noted, however, that time is slowed down during Mega Evolution, allowing Mewtwo to easily hit opponents at point-blank. As such, it is best used when the opponent is up close. It has enough power to KO at 50% from the center of Final Destination.

Mewtwo can learn Psystrike at level 100 from Pokémon Black and White onwards. It is depicted as a mass of psychic power fragments, unlike its Smash Bros. appearance.
