Mario Bros. (team)

The Mario Bros. team is a special team that consists of Mario and Luigi that appears in both Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Brothers Melee.

The team consists of Mario and Luigi and are battled on Peach's Castle. The player and a random character must defeat both Mario and Luigi in order to procede to the next stage. The Mario Bros. team also appears in Super Smash Brothers Melee in Adventure Mode. If the player has unlocked Luigi, they will fight Metal Mario and Metal Luigi instead of their regular forms. If Luigi has not been unlocked yet, then they will fight Metal Mario. If the player manages to defeat both brothers, they will be rewarded the Mario Bros. KO bonus. The Mario Bros. team does not appear as a team in Super Smash Bros. Melee's Classic Mode since the team battles are chosen at random.
