The '''Kansai Battle Rankings''', '''Kansai Ranking Battles''', or '''Kansai Melee Battle Road Ranking Battles''' (関西スマブラDXバトルロード Melee ランキングバトル) otherwise known as the de facto '''Japanese Melee Power Rankings''' are a series of rankings for ''Melee'' players in Japan. The rankings are derived from placements at the [[Sumabato DX Melee]] tournaments and exclude results from other tournaments, so in some sense they cannot really be thought of as power rankings in a strict sense. Two rankings are are released a year.
