The Sliding Box is an item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's mostly similar to a Crate, but it has wheels on the bottom, allowing it to roll down hills. Like Crates and Barrels, Sliding Boxes will change their appearance based on the stage they're in. A certain screenshot makes it seem as if Pikachu is riding on top of the box. Whether this was an odd camera angle or an actual feature of the item is unknown.
It is unknown whether Sliding Boxes are separate items or a variant on the Crate that sometimes appears when Crates are activated, though Super Smash Bros. Dojo!! made it sound somewhat more like they would be separate items.
