When using Snake's [[Snake's Codec Messages|secret taunt]] against Donkey Kong, Otacon tells Snake that the original Donkey Kong that Mario fought was actually the current DK's grandfather. That being said, Cranky Kong can also be found on the 75m stage. Ironically, he is actually a very deadly stage obstacle when he is pounding his chest.
