Blaze the Cat (disambiguation)
Blaze the Cat is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is a lavender cat with yellow eyes and fire powers.
Character Description
She first appears in Sonic Rush as one of the two main playable characters next to Sonic the Hedgehog himself. Her origin is somewhat in debate. Whilst Sonic Rush states she comes from an alternate dimension, the Next-Gen Sonic game states she comes from the future. Her apparent nemesis is Eggman Nega, Dr. Eggman's alternate counterpart. While not as fast as Sonic, she is much more acrobatic and agile in nature. Her primary power is pyrokinesis, giving her the ability to manifest and manipulate fire. However it is because of this power, her royalty and duty as guardian of the Sol Emeralds that has often pushed her away from opportunities from befriending others. Initially appearing as a no-nonsense guardian solely devoted her cause, she begins to open up when she meets Cream the Rabbit. During the course of Sonic Rush she gradually becomes more friendly and at the end of her story, shows great concern for Cream's safety. Her duty however puts her at odds with other characters, mainly Knuckles and Sonic, in which the latter she fights out of frustration. However they come to terms and fights Dr. Eggman and his alternate universe counterpart, Eggman Nega by using the power of the Sol Emeralds to transform into Burning Blaze, fighting alongside Super Sonic. She later went on to appear in other games such as the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog game, where she is paired up with Silver the Hedgehog and is later featured in Sonic Rush Adventure.

Trophy Description
- A princess from another dimension and guardian of the Sol Emeralds, also known as Blaze The Cat. Blaze is calm but often seems to be dealing with some inner turmoil. She's also extremely hard on herself, and as a result, she comes across as somewhat shy. She learns to open up after meeting Sonic and his crew and can use the Sol Emeralds to become Burning Blaze.
