Charlie "AbsentPage" McKinley is a smasher who is well known for being one of the quickest Melee and Project M players to make his State Power Ranking in the United States. AbsentPage is also one of the best Fox/Sheik players in the Midwest, and is also the top smasher in Minnesota.
As of the June 9th, 2017 Minnesota Power Rankings, he is ranked first. He was the first player to take the top spot from Slayer in over two years in 2016. He holds wins over 6 of top-100 ranked players from 2016; Trulliam, Lovage, Eddy Mexico, Kels, lloD and KJH.
AbsentPage was mentioned by Peek&Co as one of the top 3 smashers from the 'doc kid' generation to look out for, along with Captain Faceroll and Zain in late 2016. This was also echoed by Hungrybox, who mentioned that AbsentPage was a player who really impressed him at UGC. Tafokints stated that AbsentPage had "one of the best under the radar runs" after an impressive 25th place finish at EVO 2017.
