Princess Peach is the "damsel in distress" in most of the Mario games to date. She first appeared as a default character in Super Smash Bros. Melee and will return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Peach has the unique ability to temporarily float if players hold the jump button down, just like she can in Super Mario Bros. 2. Also, when she uses the vegetable attack (down B), she would occasionally pick out items, such as Mr. Saturn or a Bomb-omb.
