Kuraudo (born September 5, 1989) is a Canadian smasher from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He mains with Ganondorf, leaving Link to fall back to as his secondaries in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Kuraudo currently mains Sonic the Hedgehog in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

He currently ranks as 9th on the Alberta Brawl Power Ranking.

Tournament Activity

Kuraudo currently pursues both Super Smash Bros. Melee & Super Smash Bros. Brawl as competitive games. With practice, he intends to pick up Super Smash Bros. 64 as well. Kuraudo has competed outside of his own province for tournaments in British Columbia, Hawaii, and California (Genesis); admittedly with less success then in his own region. This aspect of ignorance to the outside competitive world has molded him into a more competent player, and has plans of attending WHOBO 2 in the summer of 2010, located in Texas.

Since competing since Brawl first hit the scene in 2008, Kuraudo has never been ranked out of the top 10 in his province for every tournament he has attended, often placing 9th or 7th place, with a 5th place victory under his belt.

Trivia

  • Kuraudo began playing video games at the age of 2, beginning with Sonic the Hedgehog for the SEGA Genesis in 1991.
  • Top Professional Smash Bros. player, Aniki, is known to be the drive behind Kuraudo's will to continue playing as Link in Melee. Since then, he now looks to Kage as inspiration, maining as Ganondorf now.
  • A quirk that is often routine for Kuraudo is that he carries a Chaos Emerald about with him, not only as a die-hard Sonic the Hedgehog fan, but also as a form of good luck when he is playing.
  • Kuraudo is intending to attend the Grant MacEwan College located in Edmonton, Alberta, in the near future; in hopes of pursuing his dream of Theatrical Arts and expanding that into a career of voice acting.
  • Asides Smash, he also hopes to compete in other fighters such as BlazBlue (Noel for CT. Ragna & Bang for CT), MeltyBlood (Arcueid Brunestud), and Dissidia Final Fantasy (Cloud Strife)
