Zero Suit Samus (ゼロスーツサムス, Zero Sūtu Samusu) is Samus Aran in the absence of her Power Suit. Zero Suit Samus first appeared in Metroid: Zero Mission when Samus' ship crashed back on Zebes near the Space Pirate Mothership or when Samus ran out of energy. While in this suit, Samus takes much more damage but is more agile. She also carries a pistol with her which paralyzes her opponents.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Zero Suit Samus will be a playable character. After using her Final Smash move Zero Laser, Samus' Power Suit falls off, causing Zero Suit Samus to appear. It is also possible to choose her from the start by holding a specific button depending on which controller is being used while choosing Samus, R for Gamecube, Z for Wiimote and Nunchuk and - (minus) on the Wiimote Sideways, if you use this, Samus' Power Suit will fall off at the start of the match. If you start the game with Samus, you can trigger your suit to fall off without doing your final smash. Press down, up, down on the d-pad when you are Samus and you will become Zero Suit Samus.
Final Smash
Zero Suit's Final Smash is called Power Suit Samus. She creates an energy field that pulls in all crates and players. Players go flying, and items appear.
Costumes
Zero Suit Samus has costumes that sort of resemble the colors that she had in Power Suit mode.
Taunts
Samus can actually talk when taunting in Zero Suit form.
- 1. She will whip her gun upward and say, "Try me."
- 2. She will spin around with her whip gun.
- 3. She will throw her gun up and say, "Is that all?"
