Overview

Luigi's Up special move in Brawl is the Super Jump Punch. Luigi jumps straight up having a sweetspot at the very beginning of the move that does 25%, while in the air, the move has a sourspot that only does 1%. If you get this move's sweetspot in the air, it will only do 20%, as opposed to 25%. This move was buffed in Brawl, going higher, and allowing Luigi to move before going into freefall, making it's overall recovery potential much better. Unfortunately, the move is quite slow, and rather predictable, making it easy to edgeguard, but with Luigi's superior cyclone and green missle, it will hardly matter.
